Missing Weddings

Lessons learned: Do not leave the country at around 25 years old.

Ryan Longfield is getting married this week.
Daniel Lowe is getting married in mid March 2006.
Jenn Hwang is now engaged.
Jeremy Chien is now engaged.

This is definitely a critical time. It's an interesting time of transition for a lot of people close to me, and I don't know what to think of it. I'm a little sad at all of the changes, but I should be happy for them for this important step in their lives.

I should definitely be in better contact with close friends by calling them. I think that not knowing what a friend is going through at a certain time is a bad sign.

PhD

I'm applying to 4 PhD programs in political science right now: Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, George Washington, Harvard. I rate my chances of getting into a single program at 30%, which is low. That's because these are top programs.
