Large Mountain Changed to Stonehenge
My desktop background is a good indication of my emotional state and it just changed from a large, unsurmountable, snow covered mountain into a nice picture of Stonehenge. The large mountain, which looks like Mt. St. Helens, really felt like this past finals week. I barely slept last night from writing a huge technical paper on the Taiwan SNTV electoral system... in Chinese. This finals set has been really rough on me!
Stonehenge represents the mystery as I anticipate the next month traveling by myself through Mexico. Come Monday, I will throw the internal frame on my back and head across the border. I will spend winter crossing through the Baja Peninsula to Cabo, then across the Sea of Cortez by boat to the Copper Canyon Railway, then take the railway to Copper Canyon (which puts the Grand Canyon to shame), then down to Guatelajara, then Mexico City. From there I hope to go to Guatemala, but it may be too ambitious for my 2.5 week break. I just really need to get out of this country, and I couldn't afford tickets to New Zealand or Chile. :(
As of this moment, I'm done!!! :)
